SSRU Administrative Committee Approves Major "Elite Sports" Project for Global Stage, While Driving "Quick Win" and QA Initiatives University-Wide

BANGKOK (June 8, 2026) – Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU) propels its proactive policies forward to achieve excellence across all dimensions. Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of SSRU, presided over the 6th University Administrative Committee Meeting of 2026. The meeting was held at the University Council Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Building 31, and via Google Meet, focusing on tracking urgent achievements and laying foundations for comprehensive institutional development.

The key agendas and resolutions from the meeting include:

1. Launching “SSRU Elite Sports” to Elevate Athletes to International Standards

A major highlight approved by the committee is the "SSRU Elite Sports Development Toward National & International Excellence" project. This strategic plan aims to scout, recruit, and polish the university’s athletic talents, empowering them to compete on world-class stages and bring global recognition to SSRU.

2. Monitoring "Quick Win" Indicators and Quality Assurance (QA)

• Quick Win Deliverables: The committee acknowledged the progress reports on "Quick Win" initiatives across various departments, ensuring that overall administration effectively and swiftly responds to the needs of students and personnel.
• Educational Quality Assurance: The meeting reviewed progress reports based on internal educational quality assurance indicators at the curriculum level for the 2nd semester of the 2025 academic year, aiming to maintain rigorous academic and instructional standards.

3. Expanding Postgraduate Admissions at the Ranong Education Center

To broaden access to advanced education in regional areas, the committee reviewed the postgraduate admission plan for the 2026 academic year for the Master of Laws Program in Laws at the Ranong Education Center. This initiative aims to produce legal experts to support the development of the southern region.
