Academic Council Holds 9th Meeting
(2026): Approves Graduation for 809
Students, Advances Healthcare Curricula,
and Expands Partnership with
China’s Shantou
University
BANGKOK (September 16,
2026) – Reinforcing its
educational leadership, Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University (SSRU) convened its
9th Academic Council Meeting of 2026 to
approve student graduations, enhance
teaching competency standards, modernize
curricula, and broaden international
academic networks.
This morning,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon,
President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University, presided over the 9th/2026
Academic Council Meeting held in a
hybrid format at the University Council
Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Building 31,
and via online conference. The meeting
was fully attended by members of the
Academic Council and university
executives.
Key Highlights and
Decisions:
Graduation Approval
for 809 Candidates: Reviewed and
recommended the conferment of degrees
for graduates of Academic Year 2025
across Round 14 (2 graduates) and Round
15 (807 graduates), totaling 809
candidates.
Faculty Competency
Framework (PTRU-PSF): Approved
guidelines for faculty professional
competency assessment to elevate
instructional quality and academic
teaching standards.
Expanding
International Partnership with China:
Endorsed the draft Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) between Suan
Sunandha Rajabhat University and Shantou
University, People's Republic of
China, to promote international academic
and student exchanges.
Enrollment
Plan Revisions & Curriculum
Development:
Approved revisions
to the student recruitment plan for the
Bachelor of Nursing Science Program for
Academic Year 2027.
Approved the
revised 2027 curricula for health
science programs, including the Bachelor
of Public Health and the Bachelor of
Applied Thai Traditional
Medicine.
Approved changes to the
program directors and core faculty for
the Bachelor of Laws Program (New
Curriculum 2026) at the Udon Thani
Education Center.
Selection of
Screening Committee Chair: Appointed a
qualified expert member of the Academic
Council to serve as Chair of the
Screening Committee for matters
submitted to the Academic
Council.
The meeting proceeded
smoothly and efficiently, adjourning at
11:00 AM.
